Who may enroll?
Any brother in Christ who is of good
character and life, who has the right purpose, and who is willing and able to
do the work prescribed by the administration and faculty is welcome to apply
for entrance. Further, applicants MUST be able to speak, read, and write
English well enough to do college level work taught in the English language.
Such applicants without the required skills in English are strongly
discouraged from applying.
Procedure:
Candidates are required to submit an
application in time that all references may be received and checked before
registration day. Completed applications should be received at the school at
least six months, and not less than three months, prior to the expected entry
date. Applications may be obtained from and returned to: Bible Institute of
Missouri, 2540A N. Kansas Expressway, Springfield, Missouri 65803.
There is no minimum educational
requirement for entrance, but one’s stability — emotionally, socially, and
spiritually — must be established by information from those well acquainted
with the applicant.
If possible, students should arrive at
school free from excessive financial obligations. Since students are
involved twelve hours each day in studies, they cannot be engaged in secular
employment while in school. When possible students should be supported in
whole or in part by the congregation where they held membership prior to
coming to school.
Students accepted must honor a signed
agreement to do all assigned work to enter and remain in school. This
agreement is included in the application package and must be signed and
returned with the application.
